Things are getting real.  I just entered grades into iNow for the first time today.  PLEASE remember to turn things in on time.  I will post the grades as soon as I grade the items.

Seniors did a FANTASTIC job today with the lines from The Seafarer.  Juniors were GREAT in the computer lab.

In-class activities:
  1. Bellringer (see pictures at left and below)  I will check the bellringers for a grade every five days.  If you are absent, please refer to the blog post from that day to complete the bellringer.
  2. Checked first draft of Personal Narrative for completion. (25 points)
  3. Checked for syllabus (5 points)  You may turn in your syllabus next time for 3 points.
  4. Collected paperwork for the school (green and gray cards and acknowledgement of receipt)
  5. Discussed pages 1-18 in the literature book.
  6. Assigned textbooks
  7. Started The Seafarer.



Homework:
  1. Finish the first draft of the Personal Narrative for Friday. (25 points)
  2. Find a poem for Poetry Out Loud by clicking this link.
