Annotated Bibliography (Again)

The Steps

  1. Start by going to your school account or your flash drive and create a folder to save all of your articles and documents.
  2. Open a document in Microsoft Word and change the font to Times New Roman 12.
  3. Set the page to double space the whole thing.
  4. Type your first and last names on the first line then hit enter.  
  5. Type my name (Mrs. Alana Haughaboo) on the second line.  Hit enter
  6. Type the course name (either Honors Junior English or Senior English) then hit enter
  7. Type the DUE DATE of the assignment (A day 2/20/15 and B day 2/23/15)
  8. Center the title.  Hit enter
  9. Line the cursor back over to the left. Set the paragraph to "Special"  Hanging indent.
  10. Enter your MLA citation of the article (provided by AVL).  Without hitting enter, add a space and then type the word Summary in bold with a colon Summary: and type your summary.  Continue with Assessment:, and Reflection:.
  11. Once your entire entry is done, then hit enter to start the next one.
  12. For the primary source (your book), do not do a summary.  Just the citation and your thesis statement.
Each entry should have a:
  • Citation (MLA Format)
  • Summary (at least 3 sentences)
  • Assessment (1 sentence)
  • Reflection (at least 2-3 sentences)

Some characteristics of the Romantic Period of British Literature are:
  • an emphasis on imagination
  • a fascination with extreme physical sensations and mental states (ex. terror and madness)
  • exotic extremes
  • nightmares and visions
  • innocent children
  • lone wanderers
  • an interest in Nature (ex. scenery, wilderness, and the natural state of people)
Choose 3 of these and give examples of where you see examples of these characteristics in Frankenstein.
